CE: What were some of your biggest takeaways from the Brown’s training camp?
AB: The biggest thing is that the new players are standing out. The big new names that they brought in like Elijah Moore on offense and Za’Darius Smith and Dalvin Tomlinson on defense. Overall, I think it’s too early and hard to tell exactly what both sides of the ball are going to look like, especially after the Hall of Fame game. There was a very basic version of that defense on that field. It’s like you don’t want to give too much away in the preseason which is understandable in the NFL.
Offensively, I think Elijah Moore has stood out even though we don’t know what the full offensive picture is going to look like. We’ve seen them line him up in different ways, use him on gadget plays, and see how good of a route runner he is which I think that’s an underrated part of his game. So, overall those are my biggest takeaways with the caveat that we still have a few more weeks until there’s actual games being played, or even hit cut week. I think there’s still going to be a lot more that we’re going to figure out about this team between now and the cut week.
