The Oklahoma City Thunder surprised people last season with their young talent, and they added to it Thursday in the draft. I was high on Cason Wallace just from watching lots of Kentucky basketball last season, and I think Oklahoma City is a perfect fit for him.

Wallace will more than likely come off of the bench and lead the second unit and give them extra scoring and a jolt on defense. Wallace doesn’t score at the clip the other guards selected ahead of him do, but I think he’s the best all-around guard in this draft. He brings size, quickness and a good basketball IQ. He checks a lot of boxes the Thunder need to get to the next level.
