An Alabama vs Washington National Championship should be fun

Why Alabama will beat Michigan: No matter which team comes out on top, This isn’t going to be a high-scoring game. Jalen Milroe didn’t receive the same buzz other QBs around college football did, but he’s the best Michigan’s defense has faced this year. I’m also hesitant to take Michigan because of their last two CFP outings. They look great in the Big Ten but get rolled in the big picture. Nick Saban has won seven national championships and is 9-4 in CFP games. It’s not that I like Alabama’s quarterback and coach more, I trust them more.

Why Washington will beat Texas: Washington being able to win close games down the stretch is the difference. Both teams have the potential to score a ton of points, but if Michael Penix has the ball late in the game, it seems like it’s a given Washington will come out on top. On the flip side, Texas does have a superior defense, but I think all of the firepower Washington possesses will really test them and be too much in the end.
