AFC teams come out on top in early games

Ravens escape Cincinnati: The Ravens came to Cincinnati and controlled the pace of the game from start to finish. Lamar Jackson got back on track throwing two touchdowns and rushing for 54 yards on 12 carries. The Ravens move to 2-0.

Chiefs back on track: I picked the Jags to win in my weekly blog, so there’s one loss. KC’s defense has been impressive only giving up 23 points in two games to some notable offenses. If the offense continues to look this bad, the defense might be the only thing worth talking about.

Bills roll Raiders: Five different players scored for the Bills and Josh Allen didn’t have any turnovers. The Bills played a much cleaner game and let the league know they can still contend. The defense did their part as well. Linebacker Terrel Bernard had an interception and the run defense shut Josh Jacobs down completely.

Titans beat Chargers in overtime: The Chargers defense gave up 27 points. It’s the first time since Week 11 of 2022 that Tennessee scored more than 22. The Chargers have the Vikings, Raiders, Cowboys and Chiefs coming up in their next four games. I think it’s time to start questioning if the Chargers are a real contender.
