Week 10 NFL Power Rankings

1.) Kansas City Chiefs (9-0)

While the 2x defending Super Bowl Champions haven’t been the most impressive to start the year, they continue to find ways to win. They remain the only undefeated team still.

2.) Detroit Lions (8-1)

David J. Phillip / AP Photo

The Lions have steamrolled most of their competition, putting up 40+ points on multiple occasions. But to be able to win, when Jared Goff throws 5 interceptions showed their resiliency. It also shows the NFC will run through Detroit.

3.) Buffalo Bills (8-2)

Jeffrey Brown / Icon Sportswire

Buffalo got off to a great start, with a pick 6 on Indy’s first offensive play. Despite some stalling on offense, Buffalo was in charge the whole game. In years past, The Bills have been the media darling, the ones they’d hope could knock off The Chiefs. After getting to an impressive 8-2 start, while going under the radar, they get a chance to give The Chiefs their 1st loss of the season.

4.) Baltimore Ravens (7-3)

Having played on Thursday, Baltimore finished their season series with Cincinnati, going 2-0. Both games have been game of the year candidates, high scoring thrillers. Baltimore remains half of a game behind Pittsburgh in the standings, with a chance to take the lead with their 1st matchup this season.

5.) Pittsburgh Steelers (7-2)

Stephanie Scarbrough / Associated Press

Pittsburgh opened their incredibly tough 9 game stretch with a fun, come from behind win. Further proving Russell Wilson is the guy that will lead them where they need to go (wherever that is). Their 1st divisional matchup is coming up, with Baltimore coming to town. A win will put them firmly in the driver seat in the division, for now.

6.) Philadelphia Eagles (7-2)

Gareth Patterson / AP Photo

The Philadelphia Eagles will never pass up on an opportunity to embarrass The Cowboys. Winning 34-6 in Jerry World, Philly takes over 1st place in the NFC East. With a matchup against The Commanders at home on Thursday night, it’ll give them the chance to firmly sit in 1st.

7.) Minnesota Vikings (7-2)

Jeremy Reper / Imagn Images

For the 2nd straight week, Brian Flores’ defense has bailed Sam Darnold out. It’s starting to look concerning for The Vikings. They’ve been lucky the last two weeks, if Sam Darnold doesn’t clean up his play, The Vikings are destined for a 1st round exit (if they can hold on…).

8.) Washington Commanders (7-3)

Stephanie Scarbrough / AP Photo

A hard fought game against The Steelers shows that The Commanders are no fluke this season, but they remain winless (0-3) against teams with a winning record this season. They have a quick turnaround with a road game against divisional foe, The Philadelphia Eagles. A win would but them back in 1st place in the NFC East.

9.) Green Bay Packers (6-3)

Matt Ludtke / AP Photo

A well timed BYE week allowed the team to regroup, allowed Jordan Love to get healthy, and try to get back on track with a road game in Chicago, a place they’re awfully familiar with.

10.) Arizona Cardinals (6-4)

Michael Chow / The Republic

A 31-6 win against The New York Jets shows that The Arizona Cardinals are here to stay in 2024. Sitting at 1st in the NFC West, Arizona has impressed this season. They’ve rattled together 4 straight wins, with a road matchup with Seattle to further separate the gap.

11.) Los Angeles Chargers (6-3)

Robert Hanashiro / Imagn Images

Every win this season is money in the bank for The Los Angeles Chargers. Entering the season, their wasn’t the highest of expectations. Building a foundation around franchise QB Justin Herbert was the biggest goal of the season. With pieces like Ladd McConkey, Joe Alt, and Quinton Johnston all developing, The Chargers making a playoff run this season isn’t out of the picture.

12.) San Fransisco 49ers (5-4)

Kim Klement Neitzel / Imagn Images

San Francisco were able to escape Tampa with a win, but they certainly had to earn it. Multiple missed kicks by Jake Moody in his return for the Niners, but thankfully (for them) he made the one that mattered most. It wasn’t without drama though, a sideline situation with Deebo Samuel and the specialist caused for some commotion. They’ll want to get that situated, now that McCaffery is back, anything is on the table, playoff wise, for them.

13.) Atlanta Falcons (6-4)

Right when it looked like The Atlanta Falcons were primed to take a commanding lead in the division, they faltered against The New Orleans Saints. Missed kicks from Younghoe Koo led to a turnover on downs on Atlanta’s last possession, with Cousins passing short of the 1st down marker. All apart of the Kirk Cousins experience.

14.) Houston Texans (6-4)

Alex Slitz / GettyImages

Houston has lost their 2nd straight game. After falling on prime time to The New York Jets on Thursday Nighy Football last week, they fall to The Detroit Lions this week. Both loses felt avoidable, as The Texans level of play hasn’t been up to the expectations from the preseason. Houston is an early favorite for “fraud of the year”.

15.) Denver Broncos (5-5)

Reed Hoffmann / AP Photo

It looked like Denver was going to give Kansas City their 1st loss of the season. But in typical Kansas City fashion they were able to prevail. Broncos fans won’t be happy with a moral victory, but it was an impressive performance that shows that Sean Payton and Bo Nix have something brewing in the Mile High City.

16.) Los Angeles Rams (4-5)

Wally Skalij / Los Angeles Times

It looked like this season was shaping up similarly to last season, with The Rams having a slow start yet ultimately clinching a wildcard berth. They were decimated by injuries early on, but since getting healthier, The Rams have looked like a different team. After taking a step back against Miami this week, they have a get right game against New England.

17.) Cincinnati Bengals (4-6)

Albert Cesare / Imagn Images

The Cincinnati Bengals again get caught playing with their food. In the second instance this season alone, The Bengals give up a late lead to Baltimore. They’ve been in every game, but Cincy needs to figure out how to finish games, quick. They’re running out of time to put together the late season winning streak we’ve become accustom to seeing while Burrow has been their.

18.) Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-6)

More bad luck, and late game blunders from The Buccaneers. Ever since the Baltimore game, where they lost Godwin and Evans, this team has been reeling. A well timed BYE week will help them get back on the right path.

19.) Seattle Seahawks (4-5)

Sarah Stier/Getty Images

Only 1 of the 3 divisional rivals for Seattle, while on their BYE, lost this weekend, which marginally helped them fight back into contention for the division. A home matchup against the division leader, Arizona, will help them chip away at that lead.

20.) Chicago Bears (4-5)

Nam Y. Huh / AP Photo

Having lost their 3rd game in a row, The Chicago Bears have fired offensive coordinator Shane Waldron. After a 4-2 start, things have been falling apart in the Windy City. Caleb Williams was sacked 9 times Sunday, bringing his season total to 38 (league leading). Whether a coordinator switch mid season is the answer or not, Chicago has all 6 of their divisional games in their final 8 games.

21.) Indianapolis Colts (4-6)

Grace Smith / IndyStar

You knew what type of day it was going to be when Joe Flacco’s first pass attempt was intercepted for a touchdown. The Colts have problems on and off the field, and Joe Flacco won’t save them.

22.) Miami Dolphins (3-6)

Wally Skalij / Los Angeles Times

When it least looked likely, The Miami Dolphins were able to dig within and get a well needed win. Having lost their last 3, 2 of which on game winning field goals, it was necessary for Miami to get a win. Now that Tua is back, anything is possible. They’ll need to be near perfect to make the post season.

23.) Dallas Cowboys (3-6)

Jeffery McWhorter / AP Photo

A disaster season gets worse. Having lost franchise QB Dak Prescott to a season ending injury, The Cowboys title hopes had began to dwindle. A career 5-1 record for Cooper Rush, to date though, was encouraging. Any encouragement left in the 34-6 loss to The Eagles. Now Micah Parsons is on the record questioning his Head Coaches effort?

24.) New England Patriots (3-7)

Nam Y. Huh / AP Photo

Drake Maye starts his career against Caleb Williams 1-0. Chicago won’t be asking themselves if they picked the wrong guy just yet, but Maye was impressive in just his 5th start. Any wins this season are money in the bank for Maye and New England.

25.) Carolina Panthers (3-7)

Kirby Lee / Imagn Images

For the 1st time in god knows how long, The Carolina Panthers have won 2 games in a row. After some early season woes, they appear to be in a decent spot moving forward. The rest of the season will be about evaluating Bryce Young

26.) New Orleans Saints (3-7)

Stephen Lew / Imagn Image

The New Orleans Saints won their first game since week 2, when they were 2-0. How they’ve fallen. Winning their 1st game post Dennis Allen firing is a great start for Interim Head Coach Darren Rizzi. Especially when you can beat the division leader.

27.) New York Jets (3-7)

USA TODAY Sports via Reuters Con

The Aaron Rodgers experience is over for The New York Jets, it’s just a matter of the season ending at this point

28.) Tennessee Titans (2-7)

Robert Hanashiro /Imagn Images

The Titans feel like a team destined to pick a quarterback early in the 2025 NFL Draft. They’re not “A QB away” but they’re a QB away from being a well rounded team which is a start.

29.) Cleveland Browns (2-7)

Sue Ogrocki / AP Photo

Cleveland was on BYE during week 10. Some rest before facing New Orleans in a battle for draft position.

30.) Las Vegas Raiders (2-7)

Ethan Miller / GettyImages

The Raiders feel like a team that’s already waiting for 2024 to end, the team needs to show some life post BYE week to ensure the safety of Head Coach Antonio Pierce.

31.) Jacksonville Jaguars (2-8)

Phelan-M Ebenhack / AP Photo

Jacksonville allowed The Vikings to come to town, and win with 4 field goals and 3 red zone interceptions. It was pathetic to watch The Vikings drive down the field time and time again, just to shoot themselves in the foot time after time. It was even more pathetic to see Jacksonville not capitalize, tine after time.

32.) New York Giants (2-8)

Kirby-Lee / Imagn Images

The New York Giants are truly a mess. Going to Germany to play The Carolina Panthers, The Giants looked anemic till late in the game. If it weren’t The Panthers, they’d have been blown out of the building.
