Cincinnati Bengals (8-6) @ Pittsburgh Steelers (7-7): Both of these teams are interesting for a number of reasons, namely at QB. Jake Browning has the Bengals on a three game win streak, while the Steelers are struggling and starting Mason Rudolph. Pittsburgh is in desperate need of a win and they will be highly motivated at home.
My pick: Pittsburgh Steelers
Detroit Lions (10-4) @ Minnesota Vikings (7-7): The Lions have a chance to clinch their first division title since 1993. On the other hand, the Vikings are trying to keep their playoff hopes alive. Detroit’s defense has slipped a little since their week nine bye, but the offense is still looking dangerous. Jared Goff is almost at 4,000 passing yards, Amon-Ra St. Brown is fifth in the league in receiving yards with 1,175 and both Montgomery and Gibbs are closing in on 1,000 yards rushing. I like Detroit’s fire power.
My pick: Detroit Lions
Cleveland Browns (9-5) @ Houston Texans (8-6): Cleveland is soundly in the AFC playoff mix while the Texans are making a push for the playoffs and to win their division. The Browns have been able to go deep down field more with Joe Flacco under center and David Njoku has been playing great. The Texans have a solid pass rush with a promising future, but I think their secondary will be tested a little bit.
My pick: Cleveland Browns
Jacksonville Jaguars (8-6) @ Tampa bay Buccaneers (7-7): I’ve said all year going back to our preseason podcasts, I am not sold on the Jags. I picked them to win the division because the AFC South hasn’t been great recently, but the Texans and Colts have made it quite the opposite. On the flip side, The NFC South is down this year and I gave Tampa a lot of crap to start the season. I predicted them to finish last, but Baker Mayfield has been one of the most consist QBs in the league and leading the Bucs to first place in the NFC South. Last week he played arguably his best game of the season against the Packers and I think he can do the same against a subpar Jacksonville defense.
My pick: Tamp Bay Buccaneers
Dallas Cowboys (10-4) @ Miami Dolphins (10-4): The Cowboys were humbled last week and Dak fell out of the MVP discussion. Miami blew the doors off of the Giants without Tyreek and flexed other weapons such as Jaylen Waddle and Raheem Mostert. I like Miami to win at home.
Baltimore Ravens (11-3) @ San Francisco 49ers (11-3): The only weakness in Baltimore’s defense is stopping the run.. something San Francisco does better than anyone in the league. The Ravens are missing so many key players on offense that I don’t if Lamar putting on his Superman cape will be enough.
My pick: San Francisco 49ers
