CE: What inspired you to start making music? Biggest influences?

DC: When I was a kid I was in the church choir, so I got used to performing at a young age. It kind of came naturally to me. I had mutual friends that wanted to start making music and I figured why not try it for myself.

CE: Most memorable performance of your career, and why?

DC: My most memorable performance was probably in January 2020 at Lion City Studios. The crowd was just so engaged with me, and I even jumped in the crowd and was moshing with them during one of my songs. It was just a very big energy and I’ll never forget that performance, especially because it was right before Covid.

CE: Favorite song in your catalog?

DC: My favorite song in my catalogue is probably “Obsessive” from my project ILY2. It was a Valentine drop and I broke up with my ex right before Valentine’s Day so it’s extra sentimental to me.

CE: Upcoming projects we should be on the lookout for?

DC: I’m hoping to drop an EP called “Turnt Tapes Vol. 1” early next year

CE: Advice to upcoming artists?

DC: Be consistent. Don’t stay stuck on one song, and release music and content with a strategy.
